-The arrangement of the funeral, adhering to the wishes of the deceased and the family.
-To enable the Family to say goodbye to their loved ones at our Chapels of Rest.
-The provision of Limousines, for the transportation of the family, from the Deceased's' residence, if required, to the Place of Worship or Crematorium or to the Burial Ground.
-The provision of bearers for the coffin or to give assistance if members of the Family or friends wish to convey the coffin.
-The listing of the names of those present at the Funeral Service for the inclusion in the Local Newspapers or to produce a list for the Family.
-To handle the Donations for Charity, if required by the Family.
-To provide, if required, Hymn Sheets for the Funeral Service at the Church or Crematorium.
-To provide, if required, a full Floral service and individual floral design service.
-We also provide as part of our service, to make the arrangements for the funeral with the Family, in the comfort of their own home.
-If Cremation, to assist the Family with their choice of the destination of their loved ones Cremated Remains.
-If Burial in a Churchyard, to prepare the grave for the interment.
-If Burial in a Cemetery, to liase with the Local Authority
-We are based in a multi-denominational area, we liase with all faiths and provide a Service Chapel in Regents' Court, Lydney, for a non-religious service, if required.
The Services offered by Philip Blatchly & Son ( Monumental Masons ) Ltd., are:
-The provision of new memorials:-
-Offering guidance for the client regarding the regulations affecting their choice of memorial from our trained members of staff in our showrooms.
-The supply, lettering and fixing in either a Churchyard or Cemetery, the memorial of your choice, subject to the aforesaid Burial Grounds' Regulations.
-The option of a individual Sandblast design on the memorial, subject to the Regulations of the Burial Ground.
-The handling of the application for the Approval of the memorial and its inscription, by the Authority in charge of the Burial Ground.
The adding of an inscription to a memorial removed for interment:-
-Guidance on the layout of the inscription enabling it to match the existing inscription from our trained members of staff at our showrooms.
-Guidance regarding the cleaning, regilding or repainting of the existing inscription.
-The handling of the application for the Approval of the additional inscription, by the Authority in charge of the aforesaid Burial Ground.
We also provide the following services:
-The cleaning and restoration of older memorials.
-Vases in Granite or Natural Stone.
-Flower Containers and other floral receptacles.
-House Names in Welsh Slate and other various materials.
